RESOLUTION ON CRITERIA FOR AFRICAN CANDIDATURES TO POSTS WITHIN THE UNO SYSTEM
The Council of Minister of the Organization of African Unity, meeting in its Thirty- Second Ordinary Session in Nairobi, Republic of Kenya, from 23 February to 4 March, 1979,
Having considered document CM/956 (XXXII) on Criteria for African Candidatures to posts with the UNO System,
Aware of the need to facilitate the work of the African Group at the UN,
Convinced of the importance of the role being played by the African Group at the UNO in New York,
APPROVES the criteria for African Candidatures as contained in Doc. CM/956 (XXXII).
