RESOLUTION ON THE GRANTING OF OBSERVER STATUS TO THE AFRICAN REGIONAL STANDARDIZATION ORGANIZATION (ARSO)


The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity meeting in its Thirty- eighth Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 22 to 28 February, 1982,


Bearing in mind the criteria for granting observer status contained in Document CAB/LEG/117/82 adopted by the Fourteenth Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government held in Libreville, Gabon, July 1977,


After taking due cognizance of the relevant report,



After considering the application for observer status submitted by the African Regional Standardization Organization, Doc.CM/1180 (XXXVIII):


DECIDES to grant observer status to the African Regional Standardization Organization (ARSO).
