RESOLUTION ON THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE FOURTH CONFERENCE OF AFRICAN MINISTERS OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS (AMSA IV)
The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity meeting in its Forty- second Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 10 to 17 July, 1985,
Having considered the Report of the Secretary-General a.i. of the OAU on the proceedings of the Fourth Conference of African Ministers of Social Affairs, Document 1310 (XLII):
CONGRATULATES the Secretary-General a.i. for the comprehensive and precise report;
TAKES NOTE of the Report and approves the recommendations and resolutions of the Fourth Conference of African Ministers of Social Affairs and DECIDES to transmit them to the Twenty-first Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the OAU;
CALLS UPON the Secretary-General of the OAU to take the necessary measures to ensure their implementation and to report to the Fifth Conference of African Ministers of Social Affairs.
