DECISION ON THE REPORTS OF THE HEADS OF STATE
AND GOVERNMENT LEADERS
The Assembly,
COMMENDS H.E. Prof. Alpha Conde, President of the Republic of Guinea and Chairperson of the Union, for appointing Heads of State and Government Leaders to champion and advocate continental strategic issues;
ALSO COMMENDS the Leaders, for their relentless efforts and invaluable contributions in advancing continental priorities within the framework of Agenda 2063, namely:
H.E. Mr. Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of the Republic of Congo, Leader and Chairperson of the High Level Committee on Libya;
H.E. Mr. Jacob Zuma, President of the Republic of South African, Leader on African Union-United Nations Cooperation;
H.E. Mr. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, Leader on the Continent’s Political Integration;
H.E. Mr. Edgar Lungu, President of the Republic of Zambia, Leader on Combating Early Marriage of Young Girls;
