DECISION ON THE LEGAL INSTRUMENTS

The Assembly,

1. TAKES NOTE of the recommendations of the Executive Council for the consideration and adoption of the Draft Legal Instruments;

2. ADOPTS the Legal Instruments as follows:

1. Statute of the Trust Fund for victims of Hissene Habre crimes;

2. Amendment to Articles 10 and 14 of the Statutes of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council of the African Union (ECOSOCC);

3. Statute of the African Institute for Remittances;

4. Institutional and Regulatory Texts of the Yamoussoukro Decision;

5. Protocol to the Treaty Establishing the African Economic Community relating to Free Movement of Persons, Rights of Residence and Right of Establishment and its Implementation Roadmap;

6. African Union Model Law for the implementation of the African Union Convention for the Protection of and Assistance to Internally Displaced Persons in Africa;

7. Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the Rights of Persons with Disability in Africa;

8. Statute of the African Space Agency.

3. CALLS ON Member States to sign and ratify the above Legal Instruments, where applicable, to enable them to enter into force.
