Recommendation on World Summit on Information Society

The Pan African Parliament,
1.NOTING the importance of information technology in human development;
2.SUPPORTING the initiative of the Tunisian government in organising the World Summit on Information Society to be held in November 2005, in Tunisia;
RECOMMENDS that the Pan-African Parliament contributes to the success of the Summit by sending high-powered delegations to the Summit.
