The Pan-African Parliament,1.NOTING the wide spread of conflicts on the continent over land ownership;2. FURTHER NOTING the difficulties facing the African people in securing project and business financing due to the conditions imposed by financial institutions requiring land titles as collateral for credit facilities;RECOMMENDS that the African Union investigates the viability of harmonising and the establishment of an African Land Title System.
