Congratulating the decision of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union for adoption of the amended Protocol establishing the Pan African Parliament which was adopted on 27 June 2014 by Summit held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea;Noting that the Protocol will enter in force by the ratification of twenty-eight (28) Member States;

The Pan African Parliament Recommends to:

1.Launch a regional Campaign on the ratification of the Protocol under the leadership of the Caucus Chairpersons in collaboration with the PAP members in the respective countries in order to secure the required number by the year 2016;
