DECISION ON HOLDING AN EXTRAORDINARY
SESSION OF THE PAN-AFRICAN PARLIAMENT
The Executive Council,
1. TAKES NOTE of the request of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) to hold an extraordinary session of the PAP with a view to appointing a Clerk and Deputy Clerk of Parliament as well as of the recommendation of the Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC) for the holding of an extraordinary session;
2. AUTHORISES the Pan-African Parliament to hold an extraordinary session on 6 March 2017 in accordance with the rules and principles governing the PanAfrican Parliament session.
3. REQUESTS the PAP to report on the implementation of this Decision to the next ordinary session of the Executive Council in July 2017.
