DECISION ON THE MEDIUM TERM PLAN 2018-2023
AND 2019 BUDGET FRAMEWORK PAPER
The Executive Council,
1. TAKES NOTE of the Draft Medium Term Plan (MTP) 2018-2023 and the 2019 Budget Framework Paper circulated to all Member States;
2. ACKNOWLEDGES the constraints faced by the Commission and the Permanent Representatives’ Committee (PRC) to consider the Draft MTP 2018-2023 and the 2019 Budget Framework Paper;
3. MANDATES the PRC to review and approve the Draft MTP 2018-2023 and the 2019 Budget Framework Paper immediately after the 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of January 2018, in compliance with Decision EX.CL/Dec.877(XXVII) adopted in Johannesburg, South Africa in June 2015 to ensure that the 2019 budget process is not disrupted;
4. REQUESTS the Commission to report on the implementation of this Decision at the next Ordinary Session of the Executive Council in June/July 2018.
