RESOLUTION ON GRANTING OBSERVER STATUS TO AFRICAN INSTITUTIONS
The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity, meeting in its Thirty-sixth Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 23 February to 1 March, 1981,
Bearing in mind the criteria for granting Observer Status contained in Document CAB/LEG/117/82 adopted by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government, during its Fourteenth Ordinary Session held in Libreville, Gabon, in July 1977,
Having taken full cognizance of the relevant reports,
Having considered applications for Observer Status submitted by Pan African Organizations:
DECIDES to grant Observer Status to the following: -
African Cultural Society (ACS) and International Association of World Festival of Negro Arts (FESTAC) CM/1111 (XXXVI);
Programme for Scientific Education in Africa (PSEA) CM/1112 (XXXVI);
African Reinsured Corporation (AFRICARE) CM/1113 (XXXVI);
Union of African Towns (UAT) CM/1114 (XXXVI);
African Cultural Institute (ACI) CM/1115 (XXXVI).
