VOTE OF THANKS
The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity, meeting in its Thirty-sixth Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 23 February to 1 March, 1981,
Having considered all the items on the agenda and having deliberated thereon in an atmosphere of understanding and brotherhood:
EXPRESSES its profound gratitude to His Excellency Comrade Mengistu Haile Mariam, Chairman of the Provisional Military Administrative Council of Socialist Ethiopia, chairman of COPWE and Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Army of the Government of Socialist Ethiopia for having accepted to host this Session;
EXPRESSES FURTHER its warm gratitude to the Government and people of Socialist Ethiopia for their friendly hospitality;
FURTHER thanks H.E. Mr. Witness MANGWENDE, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Zimbabwe for having efficiently chaired the deliberations of the Session;
EXPRESSES its gratitude to the Secretary-General of the Organization of African Unity, to the staff members of the Secretariat, interpreters, translators, secretaries and all other who, in one way or the other, contributed to the success of this Session.
