DECISION ON THE ACTIVITIES OF THE AFRICAN UNION ADVISORY
BOARD ON THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION

The Executive Council,
1. TAKES NOTE of the Report of the African Union Advisory Board on the Fight against Corruption (AU ABC) and the recommendations contained therein;
2. URGES Member States that have not yet done so to expedite the process of signing, ratifying and domesticating the African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption;
3. REQUESTS the Commission, in collaboration with the Permanent Representatives’ Committee (PRC), to provide the necessary resources to make the AU ABC more efficient;
4. ALSO REQUESTS the AU ABC to report on the implementation of this decision to the ordinary session of the Executive Council scheduled for January 2017.
