DECISION ON THE ACTIVITY REPORT OF PAN-AFRICAN PARLIAMENT

The Executive Council:
1. TAKES NOTE of the Activity Report of the Pan-African Parliament;
2. CONGRATULATES the Member States that have ratified the new Protocol of the Pan-African Parliament and ENCOURAGES those that are yet to do so to take concrete steps towards the ratification of the new PAP Protocol;
3. REQUESTS the PRC and the Commission to work in collaboration with PAP and the Government of South Africa to expedite the review process of the Host Country Agreement;
4. WELCOMES the proposal of a joint retreat between the PAP and the PRC to strengthen collaboration between the two Organs and to promote synergies in addressing the challenges affecting the Pan-African Parliament and to agree on a proper modality for the preparations and the expected outcome.
