RESOLUTION ON THE APPLICATION OF AFRICA CO-OPERATIVE SAVINGS AND CREDIT ASSOCIATION (ACOSCA) FOR OBSERVER STATUS
The Council of Ministers of the Organization of African Unity, meeting in its Forty- third Ordinary Session in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 25 February to 4 March 1986,
Having considered the application of the Africa Co-operative Savings and Credit Association (ACOSCA) for Observer Status with the OAU,
Conscious of the important role that the Africa Co-operative Savings and Credit Association (ACOSCA) can play in the economic recovery and development of Africa,
Having satisfied itself that the Africa Co-operative Savings and Credit Association has fulfilled the legal criteria for the granting of Observer Status, as established by the OAU Assembly of Heads of State and Government;
APPROVES the said application of the Association and grants it Observer Status with the Organization of African Unity.
